Last night, around 11:30pm, our sweet Cowboy Tynan went to be with Jesus.
I have so many thoughts going through my head but can't seem to get them out just yet. My heart is literally breaking for the Chapa family. Janie, Tynan's mom, has become one of my dear friends and I just cannot even begin to fathom the pain she is experiencing.
While we are heartbroken that Tynan is no longer with us, we are comforted in knowing he is healed - free of cancer, pain, and hospitals.
Tynan, you are loved.
Tynan, you are missed.
Tynan, you will never beforgotten.
One of our amazing nurses posted this song on facebook when we knew the end was near and I have been singing it for days now.
Godspeed, little man.

Beautiful, Lindsey. Though we never formally met them on the unit, we have been praying for sweet Tynan and his family. What a strong and courageous little man!

He looks like he was such a sweet little boy. I will be praying for peace and comfort for his family! We lost our nephew to AML in May and I don't think there is anything worse in the entire world. The death of children is something I don't think I will ever understand. :(
