Kate's New Ride & New Tricks!

I totally forgot to blog about Kate's new ride!

My wonderful in-laws got us a BOB jogging stroller for Christmas.  It came in a few weeks ago and I have to say that I love it!  I still love my UppaBaby Vista but the BOB is super nice too!

We took it on a walk this evening and Kate loved it!

In fact, she loved it so much that she fell asleep!

I haven't jogged with her yet as she is still a bit wobbly and small for the seat but, I think we will be hitting the pavement in the next few weeks!

EDIT: Since people think I don't want my child to be safe, we have consulted our Pediatrician regarding when we can start jogging with Kate.  I don't need strangers telling me how to keep my child safe.

And Kate's new trick - I woke up at 5am (yes my child was finally sleeping - and it was in her pack n play - this is HUGE for us) to baby coos.  I put on my glasses, because if you weren't aware, I am blind as a bat, and saw Kate, unswaddled, and on her back playing with her feet.

She goes down swaddled from the arms down and sleeps on her belly (and FYI I don't care what your opinion on that matter is).  So, at some point, she removed the swaddled, flip to her back, and grabbed the most fun built in toy ever!

I'm thinking our swaddling days are numbered...

This is my favorite part of the post: "And FYI I don't care what your opinion on that matter is."

Jamie - we have consulted with our Pediatrician on when we can start jogging. I don't need random people telling their opinion on that matter either.

LOVE the BOB! We were at Disney over the weekend and everyone had one- I am thinking I need to retire our Bugaboo and get one!
My daughter has always been a tummy sleeper- with her butt up in the air- LOVE it!

What kind of BOB did you get? I know you are a stroller aficionado, did you ever research any of the BabyJoggers?

Man, that's nice! I can't wait to get one someday. In his youth (haha) C could only sleep on his stomach because of his reflux. Otherwise he would wake up over and over and be so uncomfortable. I think the pressure felt really good to him. Anyways, hopefully you guys will be hitting the pavement soon! I can't wait to hear how you like it with bob.

FYI - Paige slept swaddled and on her stomach until she was 9 months old. It was the only way she would fall and stay asleep!

I'm glad you like your BOB!

I never realized there was a certain age they had to make it to before you start jogging, but I wasn't ready to run before 8 wks anyways, I'm looking for a jogging stroller, thanks for the blog!
