There is no denying this year has gotten off to a rocky start. We've made six {sick} visits to the Pediatrician and three visits to Texas Children's for routine appointments.

All in fifteen days.

See? Pretty rocky.

But all of that hardship. All of that sickness. All of those pity parties I've thrown myself.

They were completely forgotten at 6:06pm last night.

Kate had a BMT appointment last week and everything looked really good - she actually doesn't have to go back until August when we do all of her 2 year post transplant testing. The only thing we were waiting on was her chimerism - the test that tells us what percentage donor cells she has in her body. This test always makes me so nervous. I've heard so many horror stories of BMT kids doing great and then BAM labs come back and they have practically no donor cells left and their transplant is deemed a failure 5 years out.

Well friends, I am happy to share that, for the first time EVER, Kate is 100% DONOR CELLS!!!

In this moment, right now, she is HEALED.

Praise be to the LORD.

Yes this number can fluctuate, and yes it will most likely be lower at some point in the future.

But today?
